Staying at home instead of a care home

Silverstar PA Care is home care for people who want to stay in their own house. A dedicated personal assistant visits. You do not move into a care home.

The shortest visit is two hours. You keep the same personal assistant, aside from holidays or illness. The work is companionship and home help: company, practical tasks, appointments, and agreed errands.

The visit is agreed at a free home consultation.

A care home is a building you move into. Staff there provide residential or nursing care, and the home is registered with the Care Quality Commission. Silverstar is the other choice. You stay where you live, and the service is not CQC registered.

We visit Macclesfield, Prestbury, Alderley Edge, Bollington, Poynton, Wilmslow, and Knutsford. Wilmslow sits next to Alderley Edge. Knutsford is its own town, further west. The registered office in Congleton is a legal address only. Congleton is not a town we visit.
