About Silverstar PA Care
Silverstar PA Care is a personal assistant and companionship service for people who want company and practical help at home. Jacqueline Silvester founded it to offer one dedicated personal assistant, usually for a minimum two-hour visit, across East Cheshire including Macclesfield, Prestbury, Alderley Edge, Bollington, Poynton, Wilmslow, and Knutsford. The work is companionship and home support. It is not clinical treatment.

Who we are
Silverstar PA Care Ltd is a boutique personal assistant service in East Cheshire. Jacqueline Silvester founded it after years in airline service and residential care training, then left a large care-company model that relied on short visits and rotating faces.

Who we help
Most people who get in touch need real time at home, not a rushed slot.
Older people who want to stay home
Getting older does not mean giving up the house. It can mean needing help with the ordinary day: meals, the diary, a walk, or company in the room. A dedicated personal assistant gives that time without turning the home into a clinic.
People living with disability or long-term illness
We support people living with disability, Parkinson's, memory-related needs, or a long-term illness. The same person can notice when this week is not like last week. That is companionship and home help. It is not nursing or clinical treatment.
Families organising support
Adult children and partners often carry the worry from a distance. They want someone reliable in the house, clear about the plan, and kind in the room. A free home consultation is where that plan starts.
How the service works
You are matched with one dedicated personal assistant. Aside from holidays or illness, that is who arrives. Visits are planned around the person's routines and usually last a minimum of two hours, so there is time to settle in, share company, and still get practical help done.

How our service works differently
Silverstar is built around one dedicated personal assistant, longer planned visits, companionship, and practical support at home. Continuity is the point of the service. Discretion matters too: staff wear ordinary smart clothing, not a uniform.
The work stays non-clinical. We do not supply medicine. We can help a person take medicine a doctor has already prescribed. We do not decide the dose and we do not provide clinical treatment. We can collect a prescription as agreed.
What support can include
Every plan is agreed after a free home consultation. Not every service applies to every person. These are the named types of support Silverstar provides:
- Companionship (company at home, conversation, and a real presence in the room)
- Home Help (personal care, laundry, and the ordinary jobs that keep a house running)
- Errands & Shopping (shopping, prescriptions, and the small trips that keep life moving)
- Appointments (diary, booking, and someone with you at the doctor or hospital)
- Social Outings (days out, walks, and getting into town without a uniform)
- Meal Preparation (meals you will actually eat, planned around your taste)

Training and standards
Every personal assistant completes an Enhanced DBS check and holds the Care Certificate. Yearly refreshers cover safeguarding, prescribed medicine, and moving and handling. Jacqueline Silvester oversees those standards.
Silverstar PA Care is not CQC registered. We do not provide nursing or clinical treatment. We do not supply medicine. We can help a person take medicine a doctor has already prescribed. We do not decide the dose. A prescription can be collected when that is agreed.
The boundary is deliberate: the service is companionship and practical home support with a dedicated personal assistant, not a nurse-led clinic.
