Companionship at home, without a uniform

1 min read Jacqueline Silvester

Tea and a book at home

Companionship here means time with one personal assistant who comes back. Conversation, prompting a daily routine, and sitting with the diary so the week stays in order.

PAs do not wear a uniform. That is deliberate. At home, and on a walk or a trip into town, the visit should not announce itself.

The visit is agreed at a free home consultation.

We do not supply medicine. We can help a person take medicine a doctor has already prescribed. We do not decide the dose and we do not provide clinical treatment. The work is company and practical help, agreed before the first paid visit.

If you are comparing this with a care home, the difference is the setting: you stay at home, with a dedicated PA, on a two-hour minimum. Whether that is the right arrangement is something we talk through at the free home consultation, not something this page can decide for you.

Quotes follow a free home consultation. We do not publish hourly rates, and we do not provide clinical treatment.
